CADO Real Estate Group was founded in 2009 by new home industry leaders Catherine Nicholas, Don Anderson, Mike Hixson and Jim Rees to offer innovative and timely solutions to homebuilders, developers and institutional investors. They were joined by Pattie Walker in 2015 to form an industry-leading senior management team with a diverse and extraordinary track record.  Our goals remain unchanged since our formation, to assemble the best marketing minds and sales strategists in the new home industry to serve our clients in achieving the highest level of success for their endeavors.

- Catherine oversees all company operations for CADO.  A 30-year veteran of the development industry, her diverse background as a municipal land use planner, residential construction project manager and on-site salesperson provides her with a unique perspective on industry challenges.  Her personal involvement and close working relationship with clients and their senior management team ensures that CADO clients receive optimal service in new product development, research analytics and marketing.  Her keen knowledge of sales skills and market trends guarantees that the CADO teams are motivated, focused and trained to execute strategies flawlessly.

hixson_newMike Hixson, MIRM – Mike is Executive Vice President, Partner and Broker for CADO.  With over 30 years of experience working with residential builders, lenders, master-plan new community developers and governmental entities, Mr. Hixson is a nationally-respected specialist in new home marketing and sales management and a nationally-certified instructor by NAHB, as well as an instructor in marketing and light construction management at UC Irvine Extension.  He has been recognized by numerous industry associations with their most prestigious awards on both a local and national level, including the Bill Molster and Max Tipton Awards for Lifetime Achievement and the Trina Ripley Excellence in Education Award, as well as two Sales Manager of the Year awards.

 

 Pattie WalkerPattie Walker  - Pattie is Director of Sales and Marketing for CADO. Pattie leveraged her firsthand knowledge as a successful new home salesperson to lead sales teams for six years with Shea Homes and later to become the Vice President of New Home Sales at the Corky McMillin Companies for eleven years. She was at the Sales and Marketing helm when McMillin was recognized as Builder of the Year during the development of Liberty Station. Sales is her passion. Pattie is an acclaimed sales trainer and motivator and her award-winning teams have garnered numerous awards. Her market knowledge is well-respected and her insights make her a popular resource for homebuilders and developers.

Jim Rees -  A 35 year veteran of the new home sales and marketing industry, Jim has been successful in overseeing the sales and closing of over 25,000 new homes and condominiums.  Although active in many regions of both northern and southern California, Jim's most current area of expertise is in the Palm Springs Valley having successfully marketed over 30 new home communities in the past 5 years.  Jim has been a frequent speaker at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and was one of the founding fathers of the Inland Empire Sales and Marketing Council. 


Rick photoRick Rodriguez -  Since the 1990's, Rick has focused exclusively on the brokerage of residential subdivision land in all stages of the entitlement process.  He is one of a limited number of brokers with specialized expertise in this unique field.    His knowledge and insights are sought after by both buyers and sellers in residential land transactions throughout Southern California with an emphasis on San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties.  Rick is well known in the development community and has extensive contacts with both land owners and developers.  He has brokered projects that have been built out by some of the largest publicly traded home builders in the country including KB Home, D.R. Horton, Lennar, Ryland and K. Hovnanian.


 coleman_newSuzanne Coleman, CSP, Notary – As Vice President of Operations, Suzanne designs and implements many of the processes and procedures for our clients and management team.  She assists clients in California and Nevada on the strategy and execution of marketing and sales programs and accelerated sales solutions.   Suzanne directs recruiting efforts for CADO and supports the training and seamless integration of new team members.  Her vast experience includes managing and recruiting staffs of various sizes in multiple industries including real estate, executive recruiting and retail.
